A favorite local place of mine. Any time I’m in town I always come here. They have some of my favorite tacos along with great Mexican or American food. The prices are good and the staff are always so nice.

Absolutely delicious! The Mean Wiener is hands down one of the best spots for a quick and flavorful meal. While their hot dogs are fantastic, their tacos are seriously underrated—they’re fresh, packed with flavor, and always hit the spot! The staff is super friendly, the service is quick, and the atmosphere is fun and welcoming. Whether you’re craving a classic Chicago dog or some amazing tacos, this place never disappoints. Highly recommend!

Tacos were amazing. Three big tacos for 3 each on Wednesdays has to be one of the best deals I’ve had all year. Was hesitant to try the shrimp tacos so far away from an ocean, but I wasn’t disappointed.

Quaint and current at the same time--cozy family atmosphere with awesome variety in the menu! First time eating in after only had take-out a few times. As my friend put it (he had the three-taco dinner, one each steak, chorizo, and pork) "That Mean Wiener place hit the spot!" I had a turkey burger dinner, which was equally yummy. Order taken, seated, and served all in under fifteen minutes.

Really surprisingly excellent food especially for a place that is making both hot dogs and Mexican food. They were fast, the kids loved the hot dogs, the parents loved the Mexican food, the steak was full of flavor, the french fries were really super babe and the service was extremely fast. We loved the salsa and the sides that came with all the dishes. Tables are a bit small, so pay attention to how much food you order!

Great selection of items on the menu. We tried a taco dinner and a couple tostadas and split it. Nice service and atmosphere. Outdoor seating available. Green river on the soda fountain, which I hardly ever see. Good stuff.
